WHAT DOES LANGUAGE, LIFE AND FAITH* MEAN?
Our classes are based around the normal topics of an English (ESOL) class but we aim to present them in a way that reflects our values.
In the Entry1/2 class we use readers that make links between everyday life and the lives of, for example, Abraham and Joseph.
Most classes will end with an open reflection on the topic, drawn from the Bible. This might be taken from a poem, advice on living, or a short story.
Through this we introduce the language and ideas of talking about belief in English in a way suitable for those of different beliefs and none.
